The app is designed as a versatile and scalable system for companies in the automotive sector.

🛠 Functionalities

SpeedX offers a full range of typical booking system features: presentation of vehicle offers with photos and technical details, filtering cars by category, body type, power and other parameters, selecting rental dates via an interactive availability calendar, automatic rental cost calculation, creating and saving bookings in the database, user login and registration, client panel with data editing options (for individuals and companies), rental history overview, and contact forms for easy communication with the system operator.

🧑‍💻 User Experience

The project was designed with maximum ease of use in mind for end users. An intuitive interface and clear layout make the process— from searching for a car to completing a booking—fast, smooth, and hassle-free on both desktop and mobile devices.

🔐 System & Architecture

SpeedX is built on a robust backend architecture enabling real-time booking management. Every user action (login, registration, booking creation) is stored in the database. The app is prepared for easy extension with additional features such as online payments, admin panel, or invoicing system.

🚀 Purpose & Usage

SpeedX was created as a demo project that can serve as a starting point for dedicated deployments in vehicle rental companies. It is well suited as a base for SaaS systems or standalone rental platforms.

⚙️ Technologies

SpeedX was built using modern and proven technologies. Front-end: Next.js, TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS provide a responsive, fast, and intuitive user interface. Back-end: Stability and performance are ensured by Spring Boot, Java, Hibernate, and PostgreSQL database, which handle business logic and secure data storage.
